Mr. Rydell was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.  He graduated from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.  At Delaware Mr. Rydell had a dual major in history and political science and a minor in legal studies.  He graduated from Nova Southeastern University Law School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Upon receiving his Juris Doctor degree Mr. Rydell was sworn in as a member of the Florida Bar.  He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, at the Law Office of the Public Defender in Broward County.  Mr. Rydell started his professional career by trying misdemeanor cases and was subsequently promoted to handle all types of felony cases including first degree felonies punishable by life.  He was also  selected to represent severe driving under the influence (DUI) cases such as those resulting in death or serious bodily injury.  Hundreds of cases later as an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Rydell opened his own practice. 


Mr. Rydell is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
